The House
We are a couple from Holland who
have found a beautyful townhouse from the 17th century.
The house is located in a central, yet peaceful
spot in the town of Lorgues, and it has a history
as the former residence of the city mayor.
The house has been gently restored with due respect
for all details. The rental rooms have been
redecorated, with their own kitchen and bath.
Maison de la Tortue

It's not a coincidence that our house is called the
Maison de la Tortue.
Tortue is the french word for 'turtle' and the house has taken this name from
the turtles that reside freely in our garden and the nearby surroundings.
The turtles usually come forth during the day to warm themselves in the sun.

The rooms are each app. 30 m2. The topmost
room has in addition a roof terrace with a
view over the town park and the surrounding
mountains. It also features a landing with
bedplaces for 2 children. All rooms provide
the option for additional bedplaces. All
rooms are fully furnished with a couch, beds,
table, chairs, sleeping quilts, bedsheets and towels. The
kitchens are fully equipped with dishes etc.
